Perhaps, the film was Box-office debacle and Rani’s debut went unnoticed. Later, Rani did a special appearance in Karan Johar's ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ which resulted as a turning point of her career. She even won awards all well as accolades from critics for her cameo act in the film.
